Sarah Jane Rowe Browning - According to family history, Sarah Jane Rowe Browning cared for Samuel & Eliza Johnson in their old age, until the time of their deaths, converting to the Christadelphian faith that the elder Johnsons practiced. Samuel Ealy Johnson, Jr. had her body brought from San Antonio (where she died, in the home of her daughter) to the Johnson Family Cemetery in Gillespie County.

Priscilla Jane McIntosh Bunton - was the first burial in this cemetery. She was supposed to be buried in the Stonewall Cemetery with her husband, but a flood made it impossible to get across the river to that cemetery, so Samuel Ealy Johnson offered the land which was to become the Johnson Family Cemetery.

Johnson Family Cemetery - Priscilla Jane 'McIntosh' Bunton was the first burial in this cemetery.
