Randolph William & Lucy S Anthony - Obituary from the Currie Funeral Home website, October 2011: Randolph William Anthony, 72, of Richmond died on October 14, 2011. He was the widower of Lucy Sherman Anthony and a retired automotive body technician with McGeorge Toyota. Surviving are his daughter, Denyse Anthony Rhodes; a grandson, Robby Anthony Rhodes; a great grandson, Logan Anthony Rhodes all of Sandston; mother, Lottie A. Taft of Lancaster; brothers and sisters, Bernard Anthony, Jr. of Mineral, Gloria Abbott of Woodstock, Diana A. Lowery of Mechanicsville, Larry Anthony of Dutton and Drena Smith of Wicomico Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Anthony, Sr. a sister, Dorothy Efford and a brother George Anthony. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 20 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock with Rev. Donna Blythe officiating. Interment will be in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lively. The family will receive friends 6-8 p. m. Wednesday, October 19 at the funeral home.

Dorothy Anthony Efford - MECHANICSVILLE - Dorothy Anthony Efford, 62, of Mechanicsville, died December 15, 1998. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Anthony, and brother, George M. Anthony. She is survived by her husband, Warren P. Efford of Fort Myers, Florida; her two daughters and sons-in -law, Wanda and Slim Wilberger of Varina and Cindy and John Kennedy of Mechanicsville; three grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Wilberger and Hilary Anne Kennedy; her mother, Lottie Anthony Taft; her step-father, Lawrence Taft of Lancaster; three sisters, Drena Bonnell, Diana Lowery and Gloria Abbott; two brothers, Larry Jr., and Randolph Anthony. Funeral Services were held at Currie Funeral Home, in Kilmarnock on Friday, December 18, with interment in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. M.P. White and the Rev. Jim Salmon Officiated. Pallbearers were Slim Wilberger, John Kennedy, Randolph Anthony, Larry Anthony, Everett Lewis and Milton Conrad.
